Chatterie Mystique

Standard

Even though the sphynx has the reputation to be the “naked cat”, it is covered by a light and short blanket, with a texture of dim and a peach skin which is often slightly longer on the ears, tail, feet and, at the male, on the genitals. The majority of the sphynx has a short mustache, which is often curled, brushed and down dropping.

The sphynx has a medium height with a fine but strong bone structure. The outgoing breast is very large and his abdomen rebounds. The head is medium sized, angled with a flat crane. The nose is short, large and round with a pronounced pinch. At the end of the nose, the stop is modest. The big eyes are nicely spaced, in a form of a lemon and slightly angled. Their eye color harmonizes with their skin. The ears are huge, naked in the inside, and round endings. The legs are long and fine, the ones in the back are higher than those in the front. Due to the large front, the front legs are slightly angled. Being put on thick cushions, the feet are oval with long toes that resemble to fingers. The tail is medium sized, fine and very mobile. The sphynx often carries it enrolled like whip. The thick skin is stretched onto the body, but stays wrinkled underneath the throat, the front, the mouth and the feet. The skin of the kittens is often extremely wrinkled.

Color

The colors look like being printed on the skin. All colors and marks are available, but due to the lack of hair the colors appear most of the time hot, including the color points.. The white becomes pink, because the pink is transparent through the skin; the black appears like dark grey. A blue specimen can sometimes transform in a type of Lila. And the color points can became pale.
